Add the same amount of carbon black in the ink, the effect is not the same,
the finer particles of carbon black will make the ink viscosity
The carbon black intersection of the thicker particles prevents the ink from flowing,
To get a moderate amount of black carbon requires more energy to disperse the black carbon sufficiently.
The relationship between the structure, viscosity, and dispersion of carbon black also affects the gloss,
fluidity, and hue of the final product.
High-structure groove carbon black such as GP-A, GP-B,GP11,GP31,GP61,GP62 of YOY and low-structure furnace carbon black such as 680PF of YOY. Both types of carbon black are oxidized and non-oxidized. In general, oxidized carbon black improves its dispersity, while unoxidized carbon black is much less dispersed. However, low structure furnace carbon black such as YOY 680PF, suitable for the substrate content is particularly low, good mobility and highlights.
The main advantage of YOY groove carbon black such as GP31,GP61,GP62 is that it has excellent dispersion and stability in low viscosity solvent system and water-based ink system. Because of its blackness, dispersion, has been widely recognized by ink manufacturers.
